The meeting topic is "How to work with your BC Management Company" looking at how to get the most out of the relationship. 

Come along at 5:30pm to meet some of your fellow chairs over a drink (cash bar). The meeting will start at 6pm.

Cost: Free to financial members; $40 door charge for non-financial members.

Speakers:

Philippa Walsh, Director and founder of Ace Body Corporate and Property Management. Philippa set up the company in Wellington to take on body corporate management after many years working in property management in other towns. Ace provides both body corporate administrative and facilities management services.

Alistair Gillespie, Principal of Administrate Body Corporate Management. Alistair has a technical engineering and project management background. He is a long-term apartment dweller and that experience led him and his wife to set up Administrate in 2009 to manage body corporate buildings. Administrate provides both body corporate administrative and facilities management services.

Anita Reinecke, Body Corporate Manager, Oxygen. Anita has a background in body corporate management and her knowledge of legislative requirements and community living assist in working through issues. She works closely with Oxygen’s Facilities Management Division for body corporates that require both services.

Wendy BoothChair of Tasman Gardens Body Corporate. Wendy has been Chair of her 42-unit apartment complex for eight years and has overseen a number of projects, including planning options for earthquake strengthening. Her body corporate has separate providers for body corporate administration and facilities management services. She is also Treasurer of the BCCG Wellington Branch and the BCCG National Executive.

At the end of the presentations, members will have an opportunity to ask questions from any of the speakers. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to compare responses from all three providers, as well as comparing your own experiences with that of Wendy and her BC.
