New earthquake legislation has taken affect this week that will affect many BCs, including those outside the EQ hotspots. If you are in an unreinforced masonry building or a building constructed before 1976 that is either 3 or more storeys or greater than 12 metres high, this is likely to affect your BC. More Info...

EQ funding initiative is not enough. ‘Good start – but more is needed’ say the Body Corporates Chairs’ Group (BCCG) and the Wellington Inner City Association (ICA) .
