This is a great opportunity for our members to refresh their understanding and knowledge of obligations relating to the governance and running of bodies corporate. Rainey Collins has kindly agreed to repeat its over-subscribed December lunchtime seminar.

Partner Claire Tyler and Senior Solicitor Daniel Hunt will cover the key requirements of the Unit Titles Act 2010 and developments since the Act came into effect, including:

  • disclosure requirements in relation to unit sales
  • body corporate insurance
  • body corporate operational rules - making sure they are appropriate and lawful
  • general and committee meeting processes and decision-making
  • how a body corporate must raise levies and spend money
  • a body corporate's responsibilities to repair and maintain its unit title development
