What are your Funding Options for large LTMP Expenditures and Major Remedial Projects?

Join us to cover a new potential option that has not previously been considered by BCCG.

How would this fit with your 10-plus year plan or how do you intend funding an upcoming remedial project ?

The topic will canvas a number of diverse views on the funding processes for BC when they are faced with:

  • high short-term demand for extra levies to cover major projects (whether long term asset replacement or remedial projects), or
  • high future, but perhaps distant, demand for long term asset replacement, and
  • how these can be funded over time and still reflect a reasonable balance of equity between generations of owners.

An exciting panel of speakers has been arranged:

Strata finance expert, Paul Morton, CEO of Lannock Strata Finance, fresh from securing an $11 million loan with Melbourne Lacrosse apartment owners to cover replacement of combustible cladding, is coming to Auckland to share his expertise with members of Body Corporate Chairs' Group.

In addition, Paul will share some of his views expressed recently on BC economics. Download his paper:
Getting smart about the economics of strata schemes.

We are also pleased that Roger Levie, CEO of HOBANZ, will join us in discussing the challenges and practicality of preparing and funding major projects for bodies corporate.

The presentations will commence at 6:30pm following the BCCG National AGM which commences at 5:30pm.
